Swimtopia Migration
What is Swimtopia?
Swimtopia is a unified platform being adopted by the JSL for the 2026 season and moving forward.
Why Swimtopia?
Previously at Glenmore, we have used multiple, separate systems for managing our season and various aspects of meet logistics:
- TeamSnap: team <-> coach communication about practice and meet cancellations, coordinating social activities, and other team business.
- SignUp Genius: volunteer signup and coordination
- HiTek: swim meet timing system.
- Paper: JSL + Glenmore team registration.
Swimtopia has replacement functionality for all of the above. This will dramatically streamline how we manage a season and should be a much more smooth option for us.
How do I . . . in Swimtopia?
If you previously performed different activities in another system in a different season, you may be wondering how you do this in Swimtopia. The good news is that Swimtopia has extensive, self-service training videos and materials on their website. The links below will help you to connect the work you previously did to how it is done in the new system!
- Signup to volunteer
- Select Signup Calendar from the menu bar
- If volunteer signups are available for a meet, then you will see this icon:
- Click it and signup!
- Register for the team
- On the team homepage, click Register Now:
- Send messages
- If you have an administrative role with the team, you will be able to push notifications to the team through our website
- If you need to send a message to the whole team and do not have an administrative role, please E-mail the committee at [email protected] or Coach Luke at [email protected]
